Join me on a stroll and shopping trip down rue des Martyrs, where we'll pick up some goodies for a traditional 'apéro' and maybe a sweet treat for later.
After 6 years in Paris, I absolutely love showing visitors the local spots, away from the grand boulevards and famous sights. Including my favourite street in Paris, Rue des Martyrs. Only a 15-minute walk away from my apartment, this glorious street is filled with small shops where we will buy the best cheese, the most delicious wine, the freshest bread, and the tastiest produce.
After, we will head back to my classic Haussmann style apartment in the 9th arrondissement, where we will dig in to what we just picked up for apéro. We will then enjoy a homemade lunch made by yours truly, a Canadian who loves sharing stories over great food & wine. The meal usually includes a homemade savoury tarte and a big seasonal salad to accompany our French treats!
My style is elevated home cooking, cozy, family style and most importantly; delicious!
Come join me in my neighbourhood, see inside a Parisian home and understand the way of life as a local!

Join me for a walk as we explore some of the finest pastries and chocolates in Montmartre (and or Rue des Martyrs). Understanding how these pastries were made, the history and discovering boulangeries that are taking the traditional ‘viennoiseries’ that we all know, and putting their own spin on them.
Private tours only. Up to 8 people.
